Poem Written from the Perspective of God

David Mullins, Student Contributor

As I sit alone my eyes swiftly comb,

Through and through the streets all I see are garden gnomes.

Eyes glazed, walking the roads that are paved,

Too worried about themselves and nobody else.

Why can’t they see there’s more to life than TV?

There’s nature and religion, but they come with conditions.

Live your life with respect, honor, and love,

And once you learn that, then instead of sitting alone, we can chat.
